The pandemic prompted silent acts of kindness by people across the globe, but Etihad Airways is bringing them to the fore. The airline is inviting members of its Etihad Guest programme to nominate a "Special Guest" who did something thoughtful – be it for the environment, the community, or just you – in 2020 and deserves to be rewarded.
Nominations have started to trickle in, and the stories span everything from selfless best friends and generous older sisters to devoted dads, daughters who distributed food to the vulnerable, and mothers who happen to be essential workers. And they're nothing short of heart-warming. To honour the everyday hero in your life, all you have to do is submit a video telling Etihad Airways why you think they deserve to be recognised with a gift of appreciation, but be sure to do so before July 31.
