This September sees the return of Hopfest, the long-running hops festival at the city’s legendary Irish pub, which comes back to town on Thursday the 12th of September and running through to Friday the 13th of September.
The event, traditionally known for its lively atmosphere, live music and tonnes of hops, is going to be offering 80 different varieties of the drink across the weekend. There will be live music again, and as the festival celebrates its 15th birthday. Doors open at 6pm on Thursday, and noon on Friday.

American recession drama 'Nomadland' was the big winner at Britain's BAFTA awards, scooping best film and prizes for director Chloe Zhao and actor Frances McDormand.
"Ma Rainey's Black Bottom", a jazz drama set in 1920s Chicago, won two awards at the opening of the BAFTAs, but the race for the main prizes remains open.
