Coldplay’s Chris Martin had an unexpected moment during the band’s concert at Accor Stadium in Sydney on Monday night, falling through a gap in the stage while performing as part of their world tour.
The 47-year-old frontman was walking backwards when he accidentally stumbled into the hole, causing a brief moment of panic.
However, someone offstage quickly reached out to catch him, and Martin was able to regain his balance and return to the spotlight.
In footage shared on social media, Martin can be seen recovering and thanking those who helped him, saying, "That’s, uh, not planned. Thank you for catching me. Thank you guys. I did not know that hole was there."
