Cristiano Ronaldo tops Instagram rich list

Footballer Cristiano Ronaldo is the the highest paid Instagram star, according to an annual report put together by media marketing firm Hopper HQ.

The Portugese player can earn up to $1.6 million per post, according to the 2021 Instagram Rich List, which analyses data including average engagement, frequency of posts, and the number of followers.

It's the the first time the former Real Madrid player has taken the top spot on the list, replacing actor Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson from the top spot.

The remaining three highest paid celebrities in the top five are Ariana Grande, Kyle Jenner and Selena Gomez.
