David Walliams returns to Emirates Lit Fest with Gangsta Granny

The Emirates Airline Festival of Literature kicked off its 14th year at a brand new location in Al Habtoor City, with a specifically curated 'Emirati Day' that put authors from the UAE in the spotlight.

Upcoming highlights include the return of children's author and comedian David Walliams to celebrate the 10th anniversary of one of his most iconic characters with a sequel - Gangsta Granny Strikes Again!

Author Alka Joshi will take fans behind the scenes of her first bestselling novel, The Henna Artist, which is being adapted into a Netflix series, starring Frieda Pinto (Slumdog Millionaire).

And fans of the popular Instagram poet Nikita Gill are in for a treat as she makes her first-ever appearance in Dubai performing a show featuring her own poetry, titled Maidens, Myths, and Monsters.
