Jennifer Lopez has apologised to fans after the lights abruptly went out at the New York leg of her It's My Party tour.

Fans were reportedly forced to evacuate the venue after just four songs due to a city-wide power outage that left parts of Manhattan shrouded in darkness.

The 14-time Billboard Award winner says she was "devastated" and "heartbroken" for having to cut the Madison Square Garden gig short.

Shortly after, she announced a rescheduled date set to take place on Monday.
