One of Katy Perry’s 2013 songs has landed her in hot water.
She’s been ordered to pay USD $550,000 (AED 2 million) to a Christian rapper for copying one of his songs.
It comes after the gospel artist Flame successfully sued Perry for copyright infringements.
The song in question is Dark Horse, which was recoded by Perry in 2013.
The American pop-star's legal team say they’ll appeal the verdict if the case is not dismissed pending a defence motion.
