Taylor Swift released an upbeat single called "ME!" along with a colourful video on Friday morning.
For days, Swift had been teasing an announcement on social media by posting pastel images from the new video.
"ME!" features Brendon Urie of Panic! at the Disco and is the first single from her upcoming seventh album.
"'ME!' is a song about embracing your individuality and really celebrating it and owning it," Swift said during an interview with ABC TV host Robin Roberts.
"I think that with a pop song we have the ability to get melodies stuck in people's heads and I just want it to be one that makes (people) feel better about themselves."
