Hollywood legend Will Smith is set to make his debut appearance as a featured guest at an international book fair, and it’s happening right here in the UAE.

The Sharjah International Book Fair has announced that Smith will take part in a live discussion on Friday, November 14, at 8:00 PM on the Main Stage.

The Oscar-winning actor, Grammy-winning musician, and best-selling author will share personal stories from his journey through film, music, writing and entrepreneurship.

His talk promises to offer powerful insights into creativity, resilience and self-discovery.

Khoula Al Mujaini, General Coordinator of the fair, says welcoming a global icon like Will Smith reflects the event’s mission to celebrate all forms of artistic expression and inspire imagination.

Smith’s appearance aligns with this year’s theme, "Between You and a Book", and highlights the fair’s commitment to bridging entertainment and literature.

Organised by the Sharjah Book Authority, the 44th edition of the fair runs from November 5 to 16, at the Expo Centre Sharjah, hosting over 2,300 publishers from 118 countries, with more than 1,200 activities planned.
