Kuwait confirms no injuries after Iranian drone hits residential complex

Kuwait’s fire service said crews extinguished a blaze at a residential complex in the capital early on Wednesday after it was struck by an Iranian drone, causing no injuries.

In a statement posted by the state media, Kuwait Fire Force spokesman Brigadier General Mohammad Al-Gharib confirmed damages.

He said firefighters from Al-Hilali and Al-Madina stations brought the fire under control.

The US struck Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps air defences, radar systems, maritime assets, mine-laying capabilities and communications sites on Tuesday, with Iran hitting Kuwait, Bahrain and Jordan, and multiple targets near the Strait of Hormuz.
