Kuwait Ports Authority (KPA) has announced on Friday that the Shuwaikh Port came under an overnight hostile drone attack, with no casualties reported.
In a press release carried by Kuwait News Agency (KUNA), the Kuwait Ports Authority said initial reports showed that the drone attack only caused material damage.
Located at Shuwaikh Industrial Area near Kuwait City, the port serves as a hub for storing and distributing goods, and accommodating commercial ships, according to the authority.
