Two people have died after a highspeed Sydney to Melbourne train derailed on Thursday.
Emergency services are at the scene in Wallan, with several passengers moved to nearby hospitals to treat for injuries.
The rail lines between Melbourne and Sydney have been closed, with authorities confirming that two carriages were involved in the incident.
It's unclear what caused the train, with about 160 passengers on board, to derail.
