UAE’s Al Ahli have reached the AFC Champions League semi-finals for the first time in their history. Goals from Lima and Ahmed Khalil helped the Red Knights beat Naft Tehran 2-1 last night, to seal a 3-1 aggregate win. Saudi Arabian giants Al Hilal now await in the last four as Ahli bid to become the first UAE team to win Asia’s premier club competition since Al Ain in 2003. The other semi-final will see China's Guangzhou Evergrande, winners in 2013, take on Japan's Gamba Osaka.
