Australia have pulled out of the Under-19 Cricket World Cup in Bangladesh due to security concerns. Their senior team postponed a test tour in October for similar reasons and Cricket Australia’s chief executive James Sutherland says the situation hasn’t improved. The International Cricket Council (ICC) has invited Ireland to replace Australia in the tournament which starts on January 27. No other team has announced plans to withdraw from the event.
