Unseeded Marcos Baghdatis continued his remarkable week at the 2016 Dubai Duty Free Tennis Championships by reaching Saturday’s final. The hugely popular Cypriot battled back from losing the opening set to defeat No6 seed Feliciano Lopez 3-6, 7-6 (1), 6-1 in front of a partisan crowd. Baghdatis, 30, will face world No4 Stanislas Wawrinka in Saturday’s showpiece as he bids to win his first ATP title since 2010. Earlier in the day, Wawrinka booked his first Dubai final appearance after opponent Nick Kyrgios was forced to retire with the score 3-6, 0-3.
