The hosts scored an imposing 200-3 and then dismissed their opponents for 152 in 19 overs.
Liton Das (59) and Soumya Sarkar (62) struck half-centuries while Tamim Iqbal contributed 41.
In reply, Zimbabwe lost wickets at regular intervals and none of their top-six batsmen managed to score more than 30 runs.
Leg-spinner Aminul Islam (3-34) and left-arm pacer Mustafizur Rahman (3-32) were the pick of the Bangladeshi bowlers.
The final game of the series will be played on Wednesday.
