Sara Errani is the first player through to the final of the 2016 Dubai Duty Free Tennis Championships. The Italian beat Elina Svitolina 6-4, 6-4 in the day's opening semi-final. It's her second final here in Dubai, she was the losing finalist to Petra Kvitova in 2013. This year's event is the first in WTA tournament history to see all eight seeds fail to win a match. Errani will face either France's Caroline Garcia or Barbora Strycova from the Czech Republic, who play in the second semi final after 7pm tonight. Errani will now be back on court around 5.30pm for her doubles semi-final alongside Carla Suarez Navarro, they play Chia-Jung Chuang and Darija Jurak.
