Pakistan has recalled middle-order batsman Fawad Alam for next month’s cricket test series against England, in the UAE. He returns to the side after a gap of five years. Meanwhile, fast bowler Mohammad Amir has been left out, despite being available for selection again after serving a ban for spot-fixing. Amir has also missed out on a place in the second tier "A" team.
