Federer through to Dubai semis

Roger Federer has booked his place in the semi-finals of the Dubai Duty Free Tennis Championships.

The seven time winner beat Hungary's Márton Fucsovics 7-6, 6-4 in last night's quarterfinals.

Federer is also looking to win his 100th career ATP Tour title this week. 

Meanwhile Sixth seed Borna Ćorić also made it safely through to the final four along with Stefanos Tsitsipas.

Earlier Gael Monfils was the first player to qualify for today's semi-finals when he beat Ričardas Berankis in three sets.
