England players line up at Wembley ahead of game with the Netherlands.

England suffered a rare Wembley defeat last night – losing 2-1 in their friendly with the Netherlands - their first loss at the national stadium since 2013. Elsewhere, Scotland beat Denmark 1-0 thanks to Matt Richie’s strike after eight minutes. Germany thrashed Italy 4-1 and France beat Russia 4-2 in their first game at the Stade de France since last year’s terror attacks at the stadium.
