Four more players join star-studded Mubadala Abu Dhabi Open line up

French star Caroline Garcia, Czech player Marketa Vondrousova, American Ashlyn Krueger, and Japan’s Wakana Sonobe have all been added to the impressive lineup for the Mubadala Abu Dhabi Open.

The tournament is set to run from February 1-8 at the International Tennis Centre, Zayed Sports City.

The excitement is building for the third edition of this WTA 500 event, which has already attracted a talented field of players.

Garcia, Vondrousova, and Krueger have been granted wildcards into the main draw, while Sonobe will compete in the qualifiers.

Krueger, Garcia and Sonobe all return to Abu Dhabi after taking part in the 2024 tournament.

Garcia faced a tough first-round match against Sorana Cirstea, losing in three sets, while Krueger was defeated by eventual runner-up Daria Kasatkina, and Sonobe fell to Bernarda Pera in straight sets.
