World number six Petra Kvitova has been forced to pull out of the French Open due to an injury.
The two-time Grand Slam winner says she's suffered a grade-two tear in her forearm.
Kvitová was one of the favourites for the ladies title at Roland Garros following her strong form so far this year, having claimed WTA titles in Sydney and Stuttgart and reached the finals of the Australian Open and Dubai Duty Free Tennis Championships.
The 29-year-old had been due to face world number 84 Sorana Cirstea in the opening round.
