Chennai Super Kings and Kings XI Punjab ended their 2020 Indian Premier League (IPL) campaigns on Sunday in Abu Dhabi.

Chennai won the toss and decided to bowl at Sheikh Zayed Stadium.

Punjab managed 153-4, with Deepak Hooda's unbeaten 62 from 30 deliveries their standout batting performance.

In reply, Chennai won the game by nine wickets and seven balls to spare.

An 82-run partnership between Ruturaj Gaikwad and Faf du Plessis (48 off 34 balls) helped set up the win.

Gaikwad (unbeaten 62 off 49 balls) earned player of the match, while Ambati Rayadu struck an unbeaten 30 (30 balls).

That's the end of the tournament for both Chennai and Punjab, having played all fourteen league games each, and finishing in the bottom half of the table - Punjab in fifth and Chennai in seventh place.
