Liverpool draw 2-2 with Arsenal in English Premier League

Arsenal and Liverpool drew 2-2 in the match that brought them together on Sunday, at the Emirates Stadium in London, at the conclusion of the ninth round of the English Premier League.

Bukayo Saka scored for Arsenal (9th minute), while Virgil van Dijk equalized for Liverpool (18th minute). The home team took the lead again through Mikel Merino (43rd minute), and Mohamed Salah equalized for the visiting team (81st minute).

With this result, Liverpool raised its score to 22 points in second place behind Manchester City, who lead with 23 points, while Arsenal raised its score to 18 points in fourth place.

In the remaining matches of this round, Chelsea beat Newcastle 2-1, West Ham United beat Manchester United by the same score, and Crystal Palace beat Tottenham Hotspur 1-0.
