Hugo Lloris is set to be sidelined for the rest of the year.

The Tottenham goalkeeper dislocated his elbow during Spurs' 3-0 defeat at Brighton on Saturday.

The club confirmed that Lloris does not need surgery but that he isn't expected to train again until early 2020.

The Frenchman landed awkwardly on his elbow as he tried to keep a Pascal Gross cross out in the third minute of the match.
