Manny Pacquiao arrives in Dubai on Monday

Manny Paquiao is due to arrive in Dubai on Monday evening. But the world champion boxer won’t be getting in the ring – he’ll be shooting hoops. The Pacman’s coaching and playing for the Mahindra Enforcers, a team in the Philippine Basketball Association (PBA). The Enforcers will be joined by two other teams, Alaska Aces and Barangay Ginebra San Miguel in the PBA Philippine Cup, which takes place on November 6 and 7 at the Al Wasl Sports Club. Pacquiao will be welcomed by the Dubai Sports Council at Dubai International, and will spend a few days in the emirate meeting officials at Philippine missions and attending several events.
