Multan Sultans defeated Peshawar Zalmi by 47 runs to win their maiden Pakistan Super League title at the Sheikh Zayed Cricket Stadium in Abu Dhabi on Thursday.
After being put to bat, the Sultans posted 206 for four in 20 overs on the back of brilliant half-centuries from Sohaib Maqsood (65 not out) and Rilee Rossouw (50).
Zalmi, however, struggled to give a befitting reply, with the Wahab Riaz-led team managing only 159 for nine in 20 overs.
