Namibia began their Twenty2020 World Cup campaign with a thrilling Super Over victory over Oman on Monday.
In the Super Over, Namibia slammed 21 runs, thanks to David Wiese and Gerhard Erasmus, who made the most of Bilal Khan's pace to hit four boundaries.
Wiese then starred with the ball for Namibia, allowing Oman to score just 10 runs while also picking the wicket of big-hitting Naseem Khushi.
Batting first, Oman were earlier dismissed for 109 with Ruben Trumpelmann taking four wickets and Wiese claiming three.
In reply, a tight last-over bowling display from Mehran Khan saw the equation eventually cOme to two runs off one ball.
Wiese, couldn't connect but the wicket-keeper fumbled the ball, and the batters stole a bye, pushing the game into a Super Over.
