NFL: Eli stars as Giants beat the 49ers

The New York Giants overcame the San Francisco 49ers by 30 points to 27, thanks to a sensational performance from Eli Manning. The quarterback had a career-best 41 completions from 54 attempts, and capped it off with an 82 yard drive which finished with a spectacular touchdown catch from Larry Donnell. Elsewhere, Eli’s brother Payton wasn’t quite on the same level, but his Denver Broncos side still overcame the Oakland Raiders 16-10, whilst the New England Patriots got yet another win, beating the Dallas Cowboys by 30 points to 6.
