England's rugby union World Cup hopes have suffered a setback, losing 25-28 to Wales. The team let a 10-point lead slip in their Pool A clash at Twickenham. In other rugby World Cup news, South Africa gained their first win of the tournament, with an easy 46-6 victory over Samoa in Pool B. Italy beat Canada 23-18 in Pool D. Later today, Australia, Scotland and Ireland aim to make it 2 wins out of 2 in their rugby union World Cup campaigns. Australia and Uruguay play in Pool A at Birmingham’s Villa Park, while Scotland meet the USA (Pool B) at Elland Road in Leeds. Ireland faces Romania (Pool D) at London’s Wembley.
