The 2016 Standard Chartered Dubai Marathon is once again attracting strong interest from elite international athletes. Former champion Tirfi Tsegaye Beyene is the latest high-profile name to confirm participation in the world’s richest marathon, which gets underway on January 22. The 31-year-old Ethiopian joins a powerful women’s line-up in the event, set to be held in an Olympic year.
