On Saturday, UAE was adjudged the winner despite losing the final match to Kyrgyzstan, after the International Ice Hockey Federation found Kyrgyz had violated the rules of player registration.
The Asian qualifiers had opened in Abu Dhabi Ski Hall in Zayed Sports City last Sunday.
