The UAE's jiu-jitsu team has put on a strong show on the opening day of the Abu Dhabi Grand Slam Tokyo.
In total, athletes from the Emirates won 23 golds, 22 silvers and 14 bronze for a total of 56 medals.
They're now comfortably on top of the medals table ahead of hosts Japan and Brazil.
Tokyo's Governor Yuriko Koike and Dr. Thani bin Ahmed Al Zeyoudi, the UAE's Minister of Climate Change and Environment were present at the event.
