The West Indies have narrowly avoided being embarrassed by Afghanistan in the World Cup.
They beat the minnows by 23 runs at Leeds on Friday night to cap off a disappointing tournament.
Batting first, the Windies posted 311 for 6 with Shai Hope top-scoing on 77.
In reply, Afghanistan looked on track to chase down their target and record a famous victory for most parts of their innings.
However they ended up falling just short and were bowled out for 288.
Despite the result, both teams have failed to qualify for the semi-finals.
