Gary Woodland is on top of the leaderboard at the halfway stage of the US Open.
The American, who has never won a major before, shot a six under par round of 65 to get himself to nine under par for the championship.
He leads Justin Rose by two shots going in to Saturday’s third round.
Meanwhile South Africa’s Louis Oosthuizen is three shots back on six under par.
