Dubai Economy has fined 14 outlets in the emirate for not complying with the safety regulations issued to combat the spread of coronavirus.
Another five shops were issued warnings.
A total of 634 establishments were found complying with the rules during the latest round of inspections.
The authority has stressed that the inspections are aimed at educating establishments about the importance of complying with the rules, and urged residents to log violations via the Dubai Consumer app.
