The UAE confirmed 1,969 new cases of COVID-19 from 217,849 tests on Sunday.
Another 1,946 people have recovered, taking the overall tally to 577,234.
Two patients have died, bringing the total number of fatalities to 1,726.
A total of 597,986 cases have been diagnosed in the UAE so far, out of which 19,026 are currently active.
The Ministry of Health conducts 217,849 tests as part of its plans to expand the scope of the tests, and reveals 1,969 new cases of the #Coronavirus, 1,946 recoveries and 2 death cases due to complications. #TogetherWeRecover
