Over half a million people travelled through Dubai from June 15 to June 18 according to figures released by Dubai's General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs (GDRFA).
A staggering 562,347 passengers passed through the emirate over the three day period official statistics reveal.
Confirming the number via social media, the Dubai Media Office posted on X, saying: "The total number of travelers passing through the #Dubai airports during the Eid al-Adha holiday, from June 15 to June 18, 2024, reached 562,347 passengers."

Upon arrival, travellers were given a special stamp to make the occasion. The GDRFA posted on X, saying: "GDRFA welcomes Hajj pilgrims with a stamp saying "UAE welcomes the return of pilgrims," receiving over half a million travelers through air outlets during Eid Al-Adha holiday from June 15 to 18."
