Abu Dhabi poultry farm closed over health risk

Authorities in Abu Dhabi have shut down a poultry farm in the UAE capital for posing a "significant risk to public health" on Wednesday.

In a post on Instagram the authority confirmed that Al Fayrooz poultry farm in Al Ajban violated food safety rules. 

"The Abu Dhabi Agriculture and Food Safety Authority has issued a decision to administratively close Al Fayrooz poultry farm," the post read, adding that it poses "a significant risk to public health".
