COVID-19: 1,214 new cases in UAE from more than 83,000 tests

The UAE has confirmed 1,214 new cases of COVID-19 from 83,146 tests.

Another 670 people have recovered, taking the overall recovery tally to 158,498.

Meanwhile, three more patients have died, bringing the total number of fatalities to 589.

A total of 175,276 cases have been diagnosed in the UAE so far, out of which 16,189 are currently active.

The Ministry of Health conducts 83,146 tests as part of its plans to expand the scope of the tests, and reveals 1,214 new cases of the #Coronavirus, 670 recoveries and 3 deaths cases due to complications. #CommitToWin pic.twitter.com/YtLZtpGxi6
