UAE authorities have issued a manual on how to deal with employees who may have been exposed to suspected or confirmed COVID-19 cases.
The document from the Federal Authority for Government Human Resources says logistic support should be provided to protect workers, customers and communities.
People with suspected or confirmed COVID-19 should be transported from their workplace to hospitals for testing.
Anyone who has been exposed to confirmed or suspected cases should be isolated at temporary quarantine facilities pending hospitalisation.
Federal employees should also report any travel abroad.
They will then have to declare if they came in contact with any suspected or known cases and submit their test result before returning to work.
It's part of efforts by the authorities to reduce the spread of the virus.
