A new medical fitness and occupational screening centre has opened in Dubai's Al Nahda area.
It is the 13th such facility to be launched by the Dubai Health Authority (DHA) in partnership with public and private entities.
The centre can handle up to 250 applications per day for medical fitness services, while the daily capacity for occupational screening services is 3,500.
The two-floor facility has advanced equipment and smart technologies run by experienced medical, technical and administrative staff.
Humaid Al Qutami, Director-General of the DHA said that the authority is keeping pace with its comprehensive development work and the continuous transformation that Dubai is witnessing.
"This ongoing urban expansion calls for modern and developed medical facilities that meet the growing needs of society and its individuals for medical care," he added.
