Some schools, universities and nurseries in Dubai have been given the option for remote learning by the Knowledge and Human Development Authority (KHDA) following severe weather conditions over the weekend.
The option is applicable where buildings have suffered from damage following the heavy rain and thunderstorms which swept across the UAE on Saturday.
In a post on social media the KHDA wrote: "In case of rain damage due to the unstable weather over the weekend, Dubai private schools, nurseries, and universities may offer distance learning on Monday, March 11. Stay safe everyone."
