flydubai has revised its flight schedule to Beirut Airport (BEY) and will operate two daily flights until August 2, the airline has confirmed. The revision comes after an Israeli air strike in Beirut on Tuesday.
In a statement to ARN News Centre a flydubai spokesperson said, "flydubai has revised its flight schedule to Beirut Airport (BEY) and will operate two daily flights until 02 August.
"We continue to monitor the situation closely. Passengers are advised to check Flight Status on flydubai.com for the latest information regarding their flights."
The changes to flights comes after an Israeli air strike in Beirut's southern suburbs late on Tuesday. The Israeli military said it was in retaliation for a cross-border rocket attack three days before that killed 12 children and teenagers. Read the full story HERE.
Meanwhile Etihad Airways confirmed it is currently operating its published flight schedule to Beirut. Emirates said that those transiting through Dubai and onwards to Beirut on the August 1 and 2 will not be accepted for travel.
