His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, and Russia's President, Vladimir Putin, have been discussing the pandemic.
During a telephone conversation on Monday, the two leaders talked about how to strengthen cooperation in dealing with COVID-19.
They focused on containing repercussions in the health, humanitarian and economic sectors as well as joint collaboration in developing a vaccine against the virus.
In addition, they discussed ways of enhancing bilateral relations within their strategic partnership and the latest developments in the Middle East and Caucasus regions.
During a phone call with Russian President Vladimir Putin, we discussed strengthening our strategic partnership and our countries' bilateral cooperation on several issues of common interest, especially the efforts to combat the COVID-19 pandemic and its repercussions.
