Watch: Major drug smuggling attempt foiled in Abu Dhabi

An attempt to smuggle 1,500 kg of drugs has been foiled in Abu Dhabi.

The illegal items with a street value of nearly AED 150 million were seized from a shipment that arrived at Khalifa Port to be re-exported to a European country.

The anti-Narcotics division of Abu Dhabi Police foiled the smuggling attempt in coordination with Abu Dhabi Customs.
