The management of land in the UAE’s capital is about to get easier, thanks to a new real estate database. The Abu Dhabi Urban Planning Council has signed a charter with 19 leading developers in the emirate to improve data sharing on all real estate projects. According to officials at UPC, every aspect of development such as shops, hotels, restaurants and villas will be included in the database. With this information, UPC will build and run a Real Estate Data Management database on the city’s commercial, retail, hospitality and residential supply and demand. The data received will also help on providing frequent updates on the status of the capital's real estate sector to enhance its journey towards Vision 2030.
