Remote training offered to Dubai taxi drivers

Dubai taxi drivers are now able to undertake required training courses remotely.

The Roads and Transport Authority's Dubai Taxi Corporation (DTC) has introduced the Tamkeen app that gives access to policies, procedures and time and workload management tools.

Qualified instructors are also online to deliver fully remote courses to 45 drivers per day.

“Full remotely managed training workshops and discussion panels were held using online audio-visual telecommunication systems engaging more than 45 drivers per day,” said Dr Yousef Al Ali, CEO of DTC.
