Sheikh Abdullah discusses enhancing humanitarian response at UN

Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, has looked at strengthening international humanitarian response during talks with Mirjana Spoljaric Egger, President of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) in New York.

The meeting was held on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly (UNGA81).

Both sides also focused on cooperation between the UAE and the ICRC in the humanitarian and relief fields.

Sheikh Abdullah also held bilateral talks with ministers and officials from Estonia, Australia, Ghana, and Antigua and Barbuda.

He further looked at boosting cooperation on international challenges with Comfort Ero, President and CEO of the International Crisis Group.
