Social care professionals in Abu Dhabi must submit licence applications to officialise their status.
A statement from the emirate's Department of Community Development says they have do so by September 2, 2021.
This applies to psychologists, psychotherapists, social workers, counsellors and applied behaviour analysts.
Failure to comply will result in penalties.
